Make Money with Online Tutoring Jobs
Introduction
i’m going to be sharing with you how to make $200 to $300 in a day completely online with a tutoring side hustle i started this side hustle working one to two days per week in the midst of the pandemic with completely no experience in tutoring
The Rewards of Online Tutoring Jobs
So the more and more I tutored, the more I realized that I actually enjoyed tutoring, and while I was making good money from it, it was really satisfying for me to see that I was actually making an impact in these students academic careers. For example, I got a message from someone I was teaching grade 10 pre-calculus, and in that message he said that he got the highest math mark that he had gotten that year. Seeing that message was just super heartwarming for me, and thinking messages like this that you’re actually helping people makes this a pretty satisfying side hustle where it’s not just all about the money
How to Get Clients for Online Tutoring Jobs
now let’s talk about how you can actually get clients Equally important to how well you can tutor is how many clients you can actually get, so I made an ad that I posted on Facebook and Craigslist. However, I got about 90 to 95 of my actual inquiries from Facebook. i’ll include a picture here of my actual post but there are four key elements that you want to have in your ad.

Marketing Tactics for Generating Clients
A marketing tactic that’s used to make people act now instead of acting later at the end of the day. This element is just to make sure that people send you that first message, so when people shoot you that first message, the first thing they want to know is how much it costs, so you kind of compare and see what kind of deal they were getting. Basically, I charged twenty to thirty dollars for elementary school, thirty to forty dollars for high school students, and forty to fifty plus four university students.
Building a Client Base Through Referrals Online Tutoring Jobs
over time you’ll also get recommendations just from word of mouth like i got a couple of clients just from my current clients recommending me to some of their friends at the beginning you might take as many clients as you want but as your schedule kind of fills up you might want to start cutting back on how many clients you actually take on over time i also figured out what client was best for me for example kind of realized that i didn’t quite enjoy teaching younger students as much because the math was really really basic like addition subtraction multiplication and you kind of have to have an additional level of patience with younger students that you just don’t need for high school and university students i found that it was generally easier to talk to high school and university students and their problems were a little bit more engaging so i would actually have to engage my brain a little bit more during the session so over time i kind of narrowed my ideal client towards that high school grade 8 to 12 30 to 40 dollar range this was a sweet spot for me not only in terms of the quality of student but the amount of time that i would have to prepare for the lesson Generally, for high school students, if i’m not familiar with the concept, I can generally learn it in 5 to 15 minutes, whereas for university students, if i really don’t remember something, it can take me like 30 minutes to an hour and there are times where i’ve spent like two hours just rehearsing for a one-hour lesson and that really cuts down on the actual time you’re making because of how much time you’re actually taking to prepare.
Managing Clients Online Tutoring Jobs
other tools that I use to stay organized in this is google calendar and I would just set up weekly recurring events for students although. I keep my appointments as flexible as possible like I don’t have any cancellation fees. I try to ask my students to have weekly recurring lessons with me just so I don’t have to do too much organizing I use Facebook messenger to communicate with most of my clients or email and I just ask them to send me what they want to go over prior to having our lesson in terms of the video calling platform there’s a bunch you can use you can use zoom Microsoft teams or google me but personally. I prefer zoom just because a majority of people are already using it for their online classes so it’s not a new software that they have to get used to
Conclusion
So although I’ve dialed down a little bit because of work and other things that I want to spend more time on, I was spending only about six hours per week and making about 230 dollars.
Good and thanks techwaris
